AppLabs Technologies Pvt. Ltd (“AppLabs”), an offshore technology company providing software testing and development services to companies worldwide, acquired Lab Acquisition Corporation dba KeyLabs (“KeyLabs”). Based in Utah, KeyLabs was a spinout from Exodus Communications and a recognized expert in software and hardware testing and specialized certification services.

The acquisition created one of the world’s largest independent software testing firms with a global marquee customer base. “KeyLabs brings a team of testing experts as well as a QA lab that is about the best equipped in North America, so the combination with AppLabs will immediately create a leader in technology testing”, said Sashi Reddi, CEO of AppLabs.
“In the last few years, we have seen an explosion of demand for software testing worldwide, whether for cost savings, independent third-party validation or operational efficiency. AppLabs is a portfolio company of WestBridge Capital Partners (“WestBridge”), a venture capital fund with approximately $140 million under management which was subsequently acquired by Sequoia Capital and became Sequoia Capital India.
