NouvEON has acquired InCentric

NouvEON has acquired InCentric

7 Mile Advisors Acted As The Exclusive Buy-Side Advisor To NouvEON In Their Acquisition Of InCentric

In August, 2010, NouvEON, a consulting firm focused on Financial Services and Utilities clients, announced that it is expanding its presence in the Research Triangle market of North Carolina and also its service offerings by acquiring Morrisville-based InCentric Solutions.

Financial terms were not disclosed.

InCentric provides information technology solutions. The deal adds technology hardware and services capabilities to NouvEON’s capabilities.

NouvEON (“new era”) also is beefing up its new RTP presence with the hiring of Stephan Ahlquist, a 17-year veteran consultant. A Duke graduate, Ahlquist will serve as a senior managing consultant.

R.J. Fabian will service as the lead for the Raleigh effort.

The consulting firm works with clients on such solutions as enterprise messaging, virtualization and mobile solutions.

“We’re excited to add the InCentric people and services to further enhance our ability to serve our clients and provide a career destination for our employees,” said NouvEON founder and Chief Executive Officer T.J. Eberle in a statement.

InCentric will operate as part of NouvEON. The combined company will have more than 110 employees.

“The opportunity to join forces and create a new organization focused on building value in management and technology consulting services, with deep industry expertise, is a win-win for our employees and customers,” said InCentric CEO Mark Milam.

7 Mile Advisors acted as the buy-side advisor to NouvEON. NouvEON hired 7 Mile to determine the acquisition methodology and criteria, find and evaluate targets based on that criteria and then negotiate terms and provide deal assistance through to this closed transaction.
