In 2018 we saw one of the most active deal environments in enterprise software with several headline deals announced, most notably in the supply chain software space was SAP’s acquisition of Qualtrics for $8b in advance of an anticipated IPO. As the enterprise technology continues to evolve at accelerating rates, supply chain software M&A activity is expected to keep pace heading into 2019, particularly as a result of software providers aim to provide more comprehensive solutions to clients.
