The IT consulting industry has been growing at around 2.3% from 2015 to 2020. While the global pandemic resulted in a temporary halt in various IT projects, we believe the industry to continue its strong rebounds from its Q1 lows. According to a survey by IFS, 50% businesses have decided to increase technology investments as a result of COVID-19. To implement said technologies, IT consultants will play an important. This trend, even though we are just seeing the beginnings of it, seems to be a lasting one. M&A activity in the space is fueled by the demand for various technology ecosystems like Microsoft and Salesforce.
