Digital transformation spending was forecasted to grow by more than 10% in 2020 to more than $1.3 trillion globally, according to IDC. With the U.S representing one-third of all digital transformation spending globally, we expect there to be further acceleration in M&A activity in 2021, continuing the trend from 2020. So far, there have been almost 631 transactions in the digital transformation space in 2021 compared to 469 during the same period in 2020.
