This month, SailPoint Technologies, a U.S.-based provider of enterprise identity governance solutions, entered into a definitive agreement to be purchased by Thoma Bravo via a $6.9 billion LBO. Upon the announcement, parties cited that the transaction will allow SailPoint to expand its markets with the additional capital of Thoma Bravo.
