TEC Inc. acquired Taylor Associates, Inc., a water resources consulting firm located in Seattle, Washington that served both public and private sector clients located primarily in the greater Puget Sound Region. Taylor Associates offered services in three core areas: water quality, hydrology, and fisheries. In addition to these core service areas, the firm also provided habitat restoration and watershed studies.
The merging of Taylor Associates into TEC allowed TEC to significantly expand its capability and expertise with water resources consulting services to the federal government, particularly the Department of Defense, while providing a wider range of environmental, engineering, and planning solutions to Taylor’s clients in the Puget Sound Region.
7 Mile Advisors provided deal support services including valuation analysis, accretion/dilution modeling and deal structure advice to TEC Inc. as part of their acquisition of Taylor Associates Inc.. This was a strategic “tuck in” acquisition for TEC Inc. that helped them grow their business and increase value prior to their sale to Cardno.
