7 Mile Advisors Acts As Exclusive Buy-side Advisor To Mainline Information Systems In Their Acquisition of RTP Technology Corporation

Mainline Information Systems Inc. (Mainline), a Florida-based national provider of IT solutions and services, has acquired RTP Technology Corporation (RTP), a New Jersey-based Value Added Reseller and premier integrator of technology products and solutions. With the acquisition, RTP will be wholly owned by Mainline and go by the name Mainline RTP. 7 Mile Advisors (7 Mile), a North Carolina-based boutique investment bank specializing in Technology and Business Services, acted as the exclusive buy-side advisor to Mainline on the transaction.

The 7 Mile team has acted as trusted advisors to management in the Business Services space for 10 years, completing over 150 partner-led transactions. The acquisition of RTP by Mainline marks 7 Mile Advisors’ 12th Business Services transaction in the past year.

By combining forces with RTP, a fellow industry stalwart with over 25 years in business, Mainline expects to reach nearly $1b in revenue. The acquisition will also give Mainline a stronghold in the Metro-Manhattan area, a geographic area where they have not previously had a major presence.

The technology partner synergies between the two companies are vast, spanning Hewlett Packard, Dell EMC, Cisco, Pure Storage and NetApp and they will complement Mainline’s considerable IBM business.
