DUTIES:

Prepare quarterly earnings reports on several key industries highlighting their key players and trends. Maintain monthly sector watches, which give a broad overview of financial trends in the industry as well as recent transactions in the space. Create and maintain sector reports to show players with certain technology capabilities (Microsoft, Google, AWS, Salesforce, etc.) that could be targeted as clients. Expand research and company knowledge about the Eastern European market. Create detailed research papers (white papers) about investments and M&A trends. Support deal teams in active lower-middle market M&A projects for buy-side and sell- side engagements. Assist in the creation of pitches for potential clients, highlighting key industry trends and potential buyers. Identify potential acquisitions for buyside engagements. Maintain and update lists of potential buyers based on a client’s industry and capabilities. Help prepare clients for management calls through the creation of tear sheets, conveying important information about the potential buyer and key themes to highlight to maximize value. Perform outreach to prospective clients, establishing relationships with C- level executives throughout various industries and geographies.

REQUIREMENTS:

Master’s degree in Finance, Economics or related field and 1 year of investment banking experience, including international and cross-border experience and experience in Pitchbook, Capital IQ, Salesforce, SalesLoft, MSFT Excel, MSFT PowerPoint, MSFT Word, DealCloud, and G-Connector for Salesforce. Must have legal authority to work in the U.S. EEOE.
