We have seen supply chain software providers emphasize M&A efforts to maintain an edge in an increasingly competitive field. Most notably, Private Equity groups have entered the landscape with such notable investments as Korber’s acquisition of HighJump and Temasek’s investment into BlueJay solutions. We expect that M&A activity in this sector will continue due to the implications of technologies such as robotic process automation and IOT connected devices that are expected to force innovation amongst the legacy players.
