This month, IT Consulting market leader Capgemini acquired Empired, a global IT services provider delivering enterprise-sized IT services and solutions. Empired offers business solutions such as cloud services, ECM service, data insights, enterprise content management, IoT services, and more. Through the acquisition, Capgemini’s Western Australia and New Zealand presence is believed to expand dramatically. Notably, Capgemini has pushed its year-over-year, top-line numbers 15% upwards as of November 2021 and inorganic acquisitions such as this one are just one of the many reasons why.
