The IT Consulting industry represents companies that help businesses design and implement information technology and infrastructure. The industry has been growing at around 2.3% from 2015 to 2020. Due to the low capital requirements of this industry, a modest number of operators are small nonemployers or independent contractors. Over the past five years, a shift in technology trends toward cloud computing and data analytics has caused operators to acquire smaller companies and develop new products to stay relevant. We believe this trend will continue over the course of the next five years as the industry evolves and develops.
