The Geospatial sector has proven to be an active M&A market with several notable deals announced through Q1 of 2019.  Hexagon has been among the most active buyers, including their recent deal for Thermopylae, which is a Google Maps partner.  Further consolidation is likely to continue, as strategic buyers look to enhance their technology partnerships and capabilities.
