In recent years, and specifically during the pandemic, businesses are relying heavily on technology to continue their operations. A crucial part of these tech implementations is enterprise software. Major players in the industry include Microsoft, Oracle, and Salesforce as they are able to offer solutions that interconnect for more efficient data storage and analysis and have a strong partner ecosystem. IDC expects global revenue of $265.7 billion over the next four years. We expect M&A activity to remain on an upward trend in 2021. So far, deal activity in 2021 has been slightly higher compared to the same period last year.
